yupp i took them im out and i showed my dad, and im look look at this, he said who was the **** head that out plat plugs in that car, . im like with thease new wires,coils and plugs it will run great, we can only hope so. but these MSD wire are out standing, i got the full kit from SUMMIT RACING for 60 bucks plus shipping, simply amazing

One of the issues we have even on the NA cars is that the GM DIS system does not like Bosch Platinum plugs.... They are eaten alive so we recommend that no GM DIS car uses that Platinum plug.... Bosch even admits they have issues with these plugs in GM DIS cars..
We see very early failures on the Bosch plugs, and the cars in the end run like complete garbage...
The GM DIS is a bit of a strange system... 2 cylinders are actuated by one coil... GM uses the Waste spark method... The cylinder on the exhaust stroke takes less power to fire the plug and there fore more power can go to the plug on the Compression stroke... If you have a bad plug or bad wire, it can cause all sorts of issues with the GM DIS system.. Picky system, but works amazingly well when you have good plugs and wires..
