You typically would be able to smell the coolant if you were burning it.

FWIW, I had a small amount of coolant just inside the inlet of the supercharger when I removed my TB last year...but it got in there by removing the TB. I'm not sure if this would be your case, but it'* possible when you took off the TB that whatever bit of coolant was in the port creeped inside when you pulled the TB up/off.

that'* what I'm hoping for but i wont know until i do my coupler cause I'm gonna clean the TB again and replace the gasket...
