Default Code 39 + Tranny Fluid Leak (Updated AGAIN on last post)

So this morning I ran to Best buy to get my new head unit in and there was a nice little puddle of tranny fluid on their clean floor when I came out. Plus I have a code 39 which is...

39 - Torque Converter Clutch Problem

I got an appointment with the dealership tomorrow morning... So what should I expect?

I think you need to have it checked out.. It could be as simple as a bad TCC Solenoid.. at least figure out whats wrong with it so that you can decide what to do..
Yep I have an appointment at 8am to get it looked at (along with the misfire I'm having... and that tranny fluid leak also)

check with them if the warranty replacement of tranny lines was done. I did mine on the 92 last year, they did it all for free. it maybe just that you lost enough fluid.

Ohhhh if I got that message sooner....

I went there and they said the trannys lines needed to be replaced at a cost of $142

As for the misfire they wanted to pull the codes and charge me $75 which I said I pulled them already (thanks to Jake for letting me use his device) but they said they had to... So I declined.

does this sound right?

tell them the campaign #, they should refund you and cover it under warranty. be resonable at first , but escalate to holy hell if need be

for what it is worth, the tranny lines are worth $30 - $40 retail, sounds like you need to get them to cover it.

Heres an update.

I got down and got a goood look at the leak. its coming under the Tranny line under the radiator.

So this would be covered by the recall if it hasn't been fixed before correct?

And took a vid showing the tranny line and the current puddle.
