You should do all your chugging while safely at home, preferably in a comfy chair you can't fall out of... :P

But seriously, Frank, also have a quick look at all your vacuum lines, just to make sure you didn't accidentally knock one loose or misconnect one while doing the work. We've had that happen before, where lines were knnocked loose and also one post where a member swapped the lines at the TB by mistake.

But do get some good Belden or other quality wires on that bugger.

Then what the heck is that, isn't it the Throttle Positioning Sensor?

I replaced all the vacuum lines when I was diagnosing the Cruise Control, so there new. as for the wires, I'll going to have to see about getting a new set...................Hey Bill, can you help me out with that one?

Yeah, Frank, I knew you had replaced all the vac lines. Just wanted to make sure you didn't knock one loose while doing other work.

When mine started chugging it was a bad plug wire. That should have been the first place to start!

If you find any corrosion on the towers of any of the three coil packs, you should replace that pack...or at least clean the corrosion off with a wire brush and apply die-electric grease. Replacement is the only sure cure though.

When ever I've had a problem with one of more wires, the problems seem to be at idle, during damp weather or underload. This problem is the exact opposite, but I will check the wires when the car comes back.

You mentioned you changed the TPS. It may be calibrated a little differently being plug and play. Any chance of putting the old one back on just to see if the problerm goes away?
When I did the cal mod to my sensor it seemed to help the chuggle at 40 mph although it did not eliminate it completely. It now downshifts easier rather than holding the gear.
