Chirping Heater Fan
It has recently been very very cold here. When the weather gets that bad, my blower motor chirps and squeaks. It is seriously getting on my last nerve, and figured id take a shot at asking if it can be fixed. From my understanding the motor is quite new (about a year and a half), so I don't want to replace it if I can avoid it ( I probably can't). I assume its a sealed electric motor and cannot be oiled etc.
Also, on a side note, How/where can you get replacement temp dials (fan speed, hot/cool, and vent selection)?
My dials have all become cracked and weak, the one for the fan select wont even turn any more, it just kinda jumps around not physically turning the bar its meant to spin. I know it looks super badass to use needle nose pliers to change your heat setting, but I cant say I like it much. lol

Remove the motor and fan and inspect it. The fan might be rubbing. Give it a drop of oil and see if that helps. Check your local salvage yard for the parts you need to replace.

Oh sweet!
I know where it is, but I assumed it was a fully sealed enclosure to keep junk out etc.
This is good news. I'm going to go deaf if I keep trying to drown it out with my subs all the time lol.
