car starts then sputters and die
Recently on my 94 bonneville se, the car will not stay on. it starts and then immediately sputters and die. If i keep giving it gas it stays on but boggles and as soon as i let off the gas it dies. I changed the icm,maf sensor, fuel pump relay, and a new fuel filter. I'm getting a spark from my wires and the fuel pump is about two years. ne ideas on what this could be?

IAC(Idle Air Control) valve on the throttle body. The PCM controls this valve to adjust the engine idle when it needs to.
Or it might be the TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) but, unlikely. Usually you will get a check engine light for that.
Remove the IAC, clean the pintle with carb and choke cleaner and inside the hole where the IAC goes also. Sounds like its not opening up all the way.

vacuum leak can cause these as well, fuel pressure. i would inspect the lines, and check the fuel pressure, sniff the regulator vacuum port for fuel if you smell it its bad

Is there a CEL on? A couple of months ago I had an issue with my PCM where it lost it'* handshake with the ICM, causing it to not be able to idle/run entirely wrong if I throttled it to run. It'* a common issue with these PCMs I've read/been told by a few. The car, at best would idle for a second or two around the 700 range entirely wrong then fall flat on it'* face and die.

VATS won't throw a code. Take the car to Autozone and have them read codes for you. They don't charge for that service.

Ignore my last post. I just saw you have a 94. You can read codes with a paper clip. Click on this link:
