Car runs too hot..... "UPDATE"
#23
yes....here is my experience, I recently saw a rad removed from a members car, now mind you this rad had been washed out from both sides with water, and he had been having troubles with the car getting hotter than he would have liked....the rad was removed and then set onthe wall.....when i knocked the rad over by accident, a pound and i mean literally a pound of dirt fell out of it.....
you may want to remove the rad and clean it

So ideas? Does it sound like a heater core, the previous owner said steam use to come out of the heat vents when he would turn it, however I never noticed this......
P.*. Since my AC doesn't work, I was wondering if I could get that big second radiator (I think its for the AC) infront of the radiator out of the way?
Also, a guy at work told me to take a pressure washer or compressed air and blow the heater core out, is this safe? Would this unclog it?
Let me know what you guys think...... :?

I would apply an open water hose to the heater core, not pressure washer. The core is designed to hold 16psi, normal household pressure is around 30-37psi. However with both hose open..you won't build the pressure and hurt anything. Flow will be visible and obvious.
Water pump. The GH'* recently had a thought on this that may be worth mentioning. That is a poor pump where the pump didn't rotate at the same rate of speed as the pulley due to poor construction.
