there is a vaccuum booster that works with it and under acceleration when the booster is going out it will send the air to other locations until you level off speeds or road conditions.

You're looking for vacuum leaks, right? Check all the small black rubber hoses on top of the engine for cracks, and check to see that the vacuum tank is not disconnected. Do you hear any hissing while the engine is running that might be a vacuum leak?

I am now convinvced that alot of our problems with air flow in the vents is due to the junction in the HVAC box. This thing is made of plastic . I took mine off I could not believe how poorly made it was for such an impotant piece. Two sets of vacuum lines junction there and I had one that was totally clogged and two that the junction holes were impaired because of the plastic holes ( the juction piece) being made poorly. I am going to soon start a thread with pictures to show you what I mean. Watch for it this week end.
