BYE BYE BONNE!
I just got back from the hospital after being in a one car accident. I apparently fell asleep at the wheel, while coming home from work. I hit a 4 ft X 10ft long brick retaining wall, completely leveling it, continued down a 20 ft or so ravine taking out 6 medium sized trees, finally coming to an abrupt stop as a LARGE oak trees' branch smashed through my windshield! Both air bags were deployed, both front side windows were smashed, my 4 month old rims were folded like a taco, and my brand new tires were all blown!, Not to mention the fact that my front-end was level with the roof line.....and I walked away with only minor injuries sustained!!! The car has been declared totalled beyond repair. So the hunt begins!!! Will I go with another Bonne?? Most likely yes, but is not set in stone yet! Afterall, this one saved my life!!!! I go tomorrow to take pics, and HOPEFULLY I can get them to Jeff in time to post, but if not...soon. Dont take ur bonnes for granted peeps!! Who knows, they could save ur lives too!!

WOW! Glad to hear you are ok man, thats really whats important! Very sorry to hear about your accident and your car :( The good thing is that you were able to walk away from it, and by the sounds of it, it wasnt a minor accident... Bonnevilles can always be replaced They can always be replaced with supercharged ones too! hehe. Anyways, glad to hear your ok, and really sorry about the car. Accidents just suck! I have never been in one, but if something ever were to ever happen I feel completely safe in my Bonneville, always have. They are good, solid, BIG cars
Did you have collision, or will you be getting any insurance money back? Just my opinion, but if I was going to get another bonneville I'd try to find a nice used 2000 SSEi. If it was a bit out of my price range at that time, I'd go for a 96+ SSEi with the newer style fascias and headlights like bosemans. Always liked those

Sorry to hear about the car, but it'* good to know you're alive to talk about it. You can always get more cars...
I drove by Durr'* today, and while I didn't see your car, I did notice a bright red '93 SSEi sitting out front. That place must be a magnet for broken Bonnevilles, as my first SSE went there after the collision.
