Overdrive isn't the issue. The PCM won't command TCC lockup until 48 mph.

I suggest checking your coil packs and doing plugs/wires. FULL tuneup would be best. 95% of these problems are ignition-related. However, don't overlook checking your fuel pressure.

Well, last year I replaced my plugs/wires, and fuel pump wouldn't be a surprise.

Also, I feel like I'm hijacking this thread... no intentions of doing so if it looks that way.

Isn't it scary when your car starts doing that?

This has been happening to me ever since I got my car...I just got done with my tuneup, intake clean, seafoam, and running some marvel mystery oil through the gas...and it just did it again today.

It happened around 50mph...less thank 2k on the tach, but the a/c was on full blast, and my car only seems to do it when the a/c is on, soooo, I'm gonna check my TPS...I was throwing a P0122 code (my SES light was NOT on, I just scanned it).
