Brake light beeping
Hi all,
I had a master cylinder fail last year and replaced it. I've noticed, on cold days, when the engine hasn't warmed up, and I either take a sharp turn or accelerate quickly, the brake light will come on and start to bing.
Goes away after a few seconds, but it'* quite annoying. Plenty of brake fluid.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I think your brake light is dependant upon 2 switches. 1 in the master cylinder, and the other on the parking brake.
Disconnect the connector at the master cylinder, and insert a paper clip inside the wire connector to jump the 2 pins. See if the light comes back on.

I just started getting the brake light on dash and the beep. Only happens at low speeds. Goes off in 5-8 seconds. I never use the parking brake. MC fluid looks good. Any ideas?

Pump the brake pedal until it is good and solid, and then maintain pressure. Does the brake pedal drift to the floor?

I was going to do Mikes suggestion. Looked at fluid level and decided to top it off. That seems to have taken care of the brake light and the beeping.
Pumped the brakes. I wouldnt say pedal went to the floor, but it didnt stay real firm either.

That could be an indication of either a bad seal in the master cylinder, a rotted brake line, or a bad seal at one of the brakes. Considering the age of the car/20 years, your brake lines are probably in some real bad shape.
I would put your car on a rack and have a mechanic go over every brake line and inspect each wheel/brake area for fluid leaks.
