No offense intended at Jeffery10X here BUT, I just found out some interesting tid bits about Ported & Polished SC'*! Turns out this "FLOZ Guy" has been causing a little bit of a "stink" with some other SC suppliers! I've found out why this guy doesn't provide any "SPECS" for his P&P SC too, because it does absolutely not effect enhanced performance in any way, shape, or form! In other words, it'* a waste of money as it will not enhance performance. A P&P SC will in no way compress any more air than a non P&P SC! The ONLY difference to enhance performance is to install a larger TB on the SC! I've done checking around this weekend on this with a couple of SC suppliers & they gave me this very same info. Now that I've probably stired everybody up a little here by stating this, let me explain how to better enhance performance. A larger TB & P&P Lower Intake-to-Cylinder Heads will best enhance performance instead. Think for a moment of what a P&P SC really is! It'* a regular SC that has been rebuilt to factory specs. You trying to tell me that the rotors are NOT polished smooth to begin with? Also, how do you "Port" a rotor? You can't! If you try to enlarge the cavity between the blower rotors you're in actuallity DECREASING the compression of the Air Molecules, therefore DECREASING Performance NOT Increasing it! Just thought I would shed a little light & FYI for some people here!

I wondered about that. I also wondered why the guy is selling larger TB'* that don't work on the cars he sells them for. He made good with Jeffrey on that last part, but he should have known it wouldn't work befor he sold the product.
What people are probably feeling is the increased boost from putting a NORMAL new supercharger on the car, and they think it'* improved boost.

I've been burned recently by SC Performance. I'm not blowing a whistle yet, and Jeffrey, this isn't meant to be embarassing (if you got burned, I'm right there with you) but if this is bull, we need to blow the whistle.
First of all, nothing was ported on the outlet of the SC. It wouldn't do any good anyway. Secondly, I looked at another auction this guy has where he showed the 'ported' intake on an M90. Nothing was ported. It was stock. What'* he porting, and why is he selling these with 94/95 TB'* and telling people they'll work on a 92/93 when they won't? He also claims 280hp PLUS for bolting this on. No way in hell. 94/95 SC'd Bonnevilles are 225hp. That'* a gain of 55hp. No way in hell. He'* getting this number by claiming 15 hp for a cone filter.
Jeffrey, we need to figure this out. Something isn't right. Deathrat is right. You can't port and polish a SC for more flow. Even the intake wasn't ported on the other one I saw. He DID sell you a TB that wouldn't work on your car. We talked a little about that before you ordered this one. You've now ended up with a unit that works, but you didn't get what he advertised. Wanna get to the bottom of this?

ok, here is the deal about the porting of the sc. you dont port the rotors, lol that is foolish to think that. the part that is ported is from the opening where the tb bolts on back to the inlet to the rotors. to increase the amount of air getting to the rotors. also when you hade your sc off. did you see the outlet where the forced air goes into the lower intake. its a triangle opening. this is opened a little there too to allow air to come out faster. you also cant polish rotors either. they are teflon coated. the rotors in the sc i got were new. there wasnt a mark on them.i do know that i have gotten almost 14 psi of peak boost and that is with a 2.20 pulley. and the readings on the g techhave like a 0,1% +-error range, but i went from a 2.24 sec 60' to a 2.06 sec 60'. with all my mods that i have done, i started at 178hp with the g tech and went to 247 hp after my mods.
mark at FLOZ has helped me every step of the way, he overnighted me a maf screen and a 6" K&N at his expense, plus refunded me 100 bux plus another pulley for the sc incase i wanted to spin it faster.

as far as the numbers on the hp increase in his add for the K&N and the intake tube. what does K&N itself say that you will make by adding their filter to your car. plus the intake tube opens up airflow to the tb making it a cleaner ,smoother, intake charge

Based upon what you say Jeffery then, I'm still not convinced that this P&P SC is enhancing Performance. So you polish the inlet side of the SC, widen it slightly too, it still will not give you a Horsepower gain more than a very little bit (2-5 hp at most! PS: I'm over generous here too!). The Air Intake Tube with Cone Filter will, so will the larger TB! I think with all your other mods combined (Coils, Plugs, wires, FI'*, Cone & Tube, TB, pulley, etc have increased HP due to their combined enhancement. As for the Boost increase, well even a new SC will have increase boost due to the "fresh" clearances & tolerances of the new parts installed. Now that you've got a smaller pulley too installed & better Air Inlet system, your boost would have increased anyways.
I'm not trying to start an arguement here, as that is not my intentention! I'm just trying to find out if what this "FLOZ Guy" claims is "True" or "False"! I'm not saying Jeffery you have gotten "ripped" off either at this point either. I do know you've gotten an increase in Performance with your mods installed. We all know that too. I just want to know how much (if any) did the SC itself contribute to that equation though!

well i did install all the parts at once. so each one has to contribute to the improvement. i do know with race engines that i have built, that a ported and polished intake makes air flow easier. an engine is just an air pump, the faster it can move the air in and out of itselt, the more power it will make.
im not trying to augue at all either. i just know that my car is a night and difference since i have done my mods to it. mark at FLOZ has been very helpful to me. and has treated me great . even with the TB problem, he stood behind it. we talked on the phone last night for over 45 mins about it. he even told me if i wanted a 92-93 package, that he would exchange mine for one. but since i added my Tb to the 95 sc , im very happy.
he must do a good business. he has contact directly with pulleyboys and they specially produce pulleys for him on demand. they just did an order for him of 20 2.20" m 62 pulleys. also he is sending me a 2.00" pulley if i want to spin it faster in the future, and still stands behind his warr.

Pulley Boys is just doing business though, as even I can get a deal if you flash enough money in front of someone'* face and buy lotz to boot!
Jeffery, I think time will tell whether or not this "FLOZ Guy" will continue to stand behind his product with future sales. Besides, just because he stands behind his product, doesn't mean that his product does what he claims it will do! All it means is that if fails, he will fix the problem.
I'm curious to find out what your step-by-step performance increase would have been as each individual mod was added though.
