battery being drained
I have a 92 SE, something is draining the battery. i bought the car without a radio
so a clock is not draining the battery. the car do have the keyless entry and light sentry package,. also ive notice that at times i would need to move the battery cable to start the car. I would tighten it and try to start the car and click lights in car goes out then i would get out of the car move cable and tigten it again and sometimes again until there is a good connection and the car starts and runs fine. I will cut it off and the next day the battery is dead. I put a charge on the battery to see if it holds a charge and it does. Any thougths??

Start by disconnecting your battery cables and cleaning the living snot out of them, including inside the boots (use a small wire toothbrush). After that, rinse and dry them very well, and put it all back together with dielectric grease. I bet you'll find a significant amount of corrosion in there.

Wear a dust mask when you do it too...
Trust me....It sucks *** inhaling the dust and corrosion crap...

You can search for which circuit is causing a short by removing the fuses one at a time and replacing the fuse with the leads from a 12V test bulb. If you see the test bulb glow, you know you have something drawing current on that circuit. If you are checking the courtesy light circuit with the door open for example, when you place the test bulb across the fuse terminals, the test bulb, and your courtesy lights will illuminate. The clock circuit may just barely make a small test light filament glow. A heavy current draw may blow out a small test light. I like to use a regular tail light bulb as the test bulb for these tests.
This will at least provide an easy check for those circuits protected by fuses.

I just thought of something, my ignition key is stuck in the ignition and for some reason
i can't remove it which is another problem out side of this one which i will need to address another time. But the key has the chip on it
do you think that could be causing the battery drain because it is still in the ignition, and drawing enough current to deplete the battery the next day?
the ignition is off though, but i just can't remove the key from the ignition. Any thoughts on the key being in the ignition which is causing the battery drain???
Thanks

It doesn’t “seem” that the key is partial turned??? All lights on dash are off, no accessories are on eg; radio etc…
and I am unable to turn the key all the way back to even turn the radio on, It will allow me to start the car and turn it off . Just can’t take the key out
with the key being in the ignition with the chip being on it will that cause complete battery drain??

I suggest you do as the Bills have suggested and completely clean those battery cables. You already know that they are not quite right, so start there. If you still have a problem, do the fuse test suggested by B. Buttermore.
Then we can address the stuck key.
No matter what, it will NOT be a bad thing to get those cables cleaned up. Many have found them to be causing their electrical issues.
