There are countless things that will help your car'* performance or help it run better. Tune-up items like decent plugs (NGK are highly recommended), plug wires (NAPA Belden Premium are a good brand), new O2 sensor (go with AC Delco), PCV valve, etc...
A lower degree t-stat as stated helps keep the engine running a bit cooler than your stock 195, and could help in the longevity of your motor. Generally, keeping things cooler is better, so the engine, as well as the transmission (cooler) helps. I see you have a custom intake...do you have a heat shield around it? Keeping the incoming air cooler will increase performance, and the cold air intake as a whole can increase gas mileage as well (if you keep your foot off the firewall )

And revving in Park is not recommended if you want your car to run better, regardless of the limiter.
