Take for example:
Power windows, power seats, heated seats, cruise control, A/C, OnStar, CD, DVD, power steering, electric start, power brakes, remote start, remote entry, ABS, SIR, seat belts, theft deterrent, HUD, EGR, AIR, (EPA), EFI, DRL, GPS, ect, ect, ect. Now Lexus has a car that will parallel park itself!
Yes, automobiles now a days are extremely complex and they have so many "convenience" features that they are bound to have problems. But why do they have all these "unnecessary" features? Because the general population demands them.
Yes, even an EGR valve. The tree huggers demand those valves.
Take all those luxuries out of an automobile and we would all be driving Flintstone cars (like mine).
We all complain about the longevity of automobiles these days, but in 1920 you would be very lucky to get 10,000 miles from a car before it needed an engine rebuild.
My point: Automobiles have come a VERY LONG WAY since the beginning. Engineers have been improving them in exponential ways that most owners can not even imagine.
An automobile is still just a machine, machines will always break eventually. Just be grateful that they last 10 times longer than they did 100 years ago!

I know what the one of my problems is now, if a different EGR doesn't fix every thing , then ill move on to other thing,
Lets Fix the one known Problem, Then look at others if they are still then.

After riding with Ryan...I'm looking for an exhaust leak seeping into the cabin. I felt nothing out fo the ordinary from the cushy passenger AL7.
However, the description he'* giving us points toward ignition related usually. Once the TCC locks up, he feels it.
