it doesnt matter now. i put the drain **** back on, put everything together, put the coolant in, started the car, waited 15 min before the temp gauge went up, wait til the smke left.....this is the main reason i was waitning, i thought th e smoke was becasue i spilled water on the motor....nope. I noticed that everything was still fine. no smoek or anything anwhere else. I then take the car out of the garage and i see that the smoke was stil coming out by the exhaust manifold. i then tried going around the block and i see that my temp gauge was back uppast 240* and that i hear adiesel motor sound coming from the engine. i immediatley put the car in the garage and cut it off. Then i heard stuff from the hood like it could have been my antifreeeze boiling over and about to explode. Now what, new motor or just a head gasket?

If that hole is in the front part of the frame, UNDER the radiator on the driver'* side, it is the drain hole for the drain **** from the radiator. There is a tube from the bottom of the radiator that is up above that hole. When you open the drain , the water exits the tube and flows out of the hole. You could attach a line to the drain tube up inside the hole if you wanted to drain the radiator and not have it splash out the hole.

Looks like the access hole to the draincock? Hard to tell from that pic. Is the draincock missing or loose? What comes out of that hole when you fill the radiator? Describe EXACTLY where that hole is.

A compression test needs to be ran on your engine. Most shops will put an air attachment in each plug hole, and apply pressure to locate which cylinder specifacally is leaking, if it is, bubbles will come out of the coolant.

Remember what we talked about last night? In chat? How that coolant is mixing with something, and that'* causing a block? Yeah, get it PROFESSIONALLY flushed, and get REAL dex cool coolant. You'll be fixed up after that, just about guaranteed. Make sure when they flush the car, that they flush the heater core too. Like uhh.. run the heat when they flush the car, or whatever. Just make sure all the old stuff gets all out, and brand new, name brand dex-cool is put in it'* place, 50/50.
