Mine lock fine. So far I only have the problem with them unlocking. Most of the time they work fine, once a day or every other day they don't unlock. When it wouldn't unlock with the remote I tried to use the door button and it didn't work either.

If I play with the buttons on the remote or the door they do seem to start to work again for a little while.

no, but the car does still start at the third unlock pulse with the remote starter, even though the doors and lights arn't working.

Ok I dont mean to take over this post or anything but I have a question about my locks as well and seeing this post is fairly fresh I figured I misewell as here and not in my own topic, anyways my powerlocks dont work, I have a 93 SSE and I was told the powerlocks are on the same fuse as my power seats the seats work fine...and I did look at the fuses and they all looked ok, any suggestions at what may be my problem? I figured if the power seats do work and they are on the same fuse as the powerlocks a short would also be out of the question?

Then why do you have alarm system listed in your signature? We can only assume it'* aftermarket if you list it that way.

Oh, sorry about that. I'm checking the fuse under the drivers seat as I type this. Not sure though, as my power seats work fine. Yeah, the car is stock but is fully loaded with options. I'll change my sig to just say that the car is factory loaded

Corey..it could be a fuse, or one of two relays.. And if I recall properly..it could also be a remote module going south.

Everyone besides Corey with a lock problem. Please post your issues in a new thread with as much detail as possible after trying the same things we have him trying. It'* too confusing trying to determine who is being replied to otherwise. So far..the only person being replied to is Corey.

I've been looking around both under the driver'* seat and above the passenger'* kickboard, but cannot seem to locate the parts. Does anyone have pics of these parts that would help me. Yes, I do have keyless entry also. If I do find these parts, how do I check if they are faulty?

Sorry, I am not very good with cars, I am more into home electronics

Is there a relay next to the passenger side relay center labeled Potter & Brumfield?

1st remove the relay & give it a shake. There shouldn’t be any loose parts rattling around in there.
2nd check for continuity between terminals B & D
3rd check for continuity between terminals E & D

There are two relays inside. Next 2 checks have to be done with each relay energized.

Energize the lock relay by connecting the A terminal to the positive battery terminal & the D terminal to the negative battery terminal.
Check for continuity between terminals C & B (I’m expecting your problem to be here or the 2nd check above)

Energize the unlock relay by connecting the F terminal to the positive battery terminal & the D terminal to the negative battery terminal.
Check for continuity between terminals C & E
