Take a white Paper towel... Wipe the fluid off the dip stick and wipe the stick nice and clean... Get a clean Papertowel( white as snow ) put the dipstick back in and then wipe off the Trans fluid onto the papertowel... Snapp a good Macro pick and post it here ![Wink](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Uh guys? I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure he said that he already did the tranny flush and filter, so it'* too late now to check if they were right or not.
I had a similar experience in the past from one of those lube joints and I don't trust most of them as far as I can throw the lot of 'em. After all, their real profits come from maximizing the dollars spent by each customer, not from the $20 10 minute lubes. There are some conscientious operators out there...
As to whether he made the right choice, I would say that the correct choice was to change the fluid and filter as he did, since that'* what he took it in there for. There is never a bad time to start caring for your vehicle, IMO.
Gator, I do think you should pay close attention to the tranny performance for a little while, just in case. Your car will usually let you know if things aren't right.
