I think you're right. But I'll post better pics of that one, and of the front one too since I never actually photographed it.
Feel free to use these in Techinfo or anything else that may be useful.

Here'* some pics, rear LIM gasket first:
Closeup of the port in question:
You were right about the collapsing on the transmission side.
Forward intake:
A little better, but not much...

So a few days later...
Car still runs great! Going to change the oil and filter once I hit the 200 mile mark after the work we did.
However, I've noticed a couple of things.
Oil Pressure: It'* lower. Not dramatically, but instead of running at ~40 psi at idle it'* running at a bit over 30 psi. Normal, or should I be concerned?
It warms up a lot faster now too...and everything seems hotter inside as far as radiating heat is concerned (engine, radiator, etc). Mechanic says it'* because of my old faulty belt tensioner...the new one is allowing the water pump to operate more efficiently. He says that while my engine may seem hotter, the oil temps are probably cooler than they were before. It'* not running at a different temperature on the coolant temp gauge, just heats up quicker and keeps the engine bay nice and toasty. I don't think that'* a problem but I thought I'd mention it anyway...
Had my A/C system recharged too, wasn't blowing cold at all. Now it'* like an ice cube.
