My 91 Lumina Euro 3.1 did that for about a year and finally left me standed. I replaced the starter (about a 3 hr job on that car.......you have to take off the oil filter just to jiggle it out!!!) and it never did it again of course I have Americas Most Preferred battery DieHard (sorry the Sears Auto Center manager coming out in me) in it (been in sisnce 99 and ive let it sit for 6 months and it cranked right over!!!!)
Of course the Bonne will get an Optima redtop (which Sears also sells ) cause as good as the DieHard is the design of the battery just isnt the best spiral cell technology is just bullet proof.

My 2000 did this twice when relatively new although once it refused to start, it was dead as in graveyard dead. Both times it turned out to be the ignition module, or so I was told.
