the airbag module on the 92-93 is in the dash on the passenger side of the car near the glove box area......IIRC they moved the module to under the seat in the 94+ model years

and if you suspect the module to be bad i do have a known good one from an 93 SSEI

I don't think it matters. The topic author clearly stated:

It has regressed to the point that the light is not on anytime I am driving.
That, my friends, is normal operation. Nobody caught the 'not'?

This applies to 1995 Olds 88? I do see a hump under the seat but it'* covered by carpet. How is it accessed? Remove the seat and then peel back the carpet on that side?

If you have the module under the seat the first thing is to redo the connectors and use dielectric and see if that clears it.
