'99 SSEi w/ CCR Struts
How can I tell if my struts are bad on a '99 SSEi w/ CCR. Both my lights which control the suspension are lit. Can a computer tell me if I just have 1 or more or a relay bad? Also, what would you recommend for aftermarket replacements.
Thanks again from a newbie who just discovered this place...it'* great

if both suspension lights are on, your ccr is gone. new replacements don't exist. if your elc still works , you could just leave it. if you want to replace your struts, you can keep the elc, but loose the ccr. I pulled working struts off of a donor car and kept ccr. some will say don't do it, just replace with new struts.

Replacement options are in Techinfo.
Replace your front struts with Monroe Sensatrac or KYB GR2. They are equals in Performance. Replace your rear with ELC Monroe Sensatrac to preserve the ELC component (it'* a critical calculated part of your suspension). Disable the CCR.

There is a link on my webpage from the techinfo article, but Monroe'* link that I link to seems to be dead.
You can live with both lights. Just replace your struts and let it go, or call Monroe and ask them where the article is. It used to be posted.
