Cool stuff eh....No it'll probably cost more than $25 but just know that thats how much it actually costed him to do it. The haggle is over how much his time and tools are worth

so the update that would be done would be all those things listed? sounds like maybe that would help prolong the life of the UIM? this sounds like the cheapest route to try next, and i really believe it'* a pcm issue that'* been plaguing so many bonnies.

there was only one for the transmission and it didnt look like what we are looking for.

GM Vehicle Calibration Information webpage not working
I've tried the website several times and never get past the "Getting Calibration Information ......" screen Has anyone had any luck with this site?

I tried that too and it didn't help. What did work was trying it at work this morning. It came right up. Might be a business hours only computer. Anyway, I called the local Chevy service dept. and got a quote of $70 for one hours labor, to upgrade/flash my PCM, though I can't see it taking more than 30 minutes. (EVERYONE at the local Pontiac dealership is named Richard Cranium, and they wanted $85. Last resort only!). What I'd like to know is... Has anyone done this had it fix their surging/slipping/whatever tranny?
