95 SE erratic idle, hard starting, stalls, no Check engine
#13
Started it up this morning, it stumbled a couple times, but did not stall. I did't have time to let it warm up all the way, but I think it is definitely good enough to go. Will drop it off tonight.
JDB - Yes, I actually replaced the rubber couplers to the charcoal canister, they were a bit baked after 12 years! I want to inspect the EGR pipe again. 950RPm still seems like a high idle to me. My Cosworth idles at 750RPM (dual DCOE webers) and my Corvette idles at 600 to 650 RPM.

Your idle should drop down a bit once you warm up. It still won't hurt to check out everything for vacuum leaks though. Getting all that done will take a load off.
When I found the one cracked vacuum connector, I replaced all of them. They are all going to be in the same state of deterioration and it costs next to nothing to do so. Sure 'nuff, I found that another one was ready to go. When done, you shouldn't have to worry about that particular issue anymore.
