Is the '92 PCM the same as the '95?

I don't think so. The 95 is a hybrid of the OBDI an OBDII software.

You looking for a replacement? 95 SSE is the Series 2. You need a 95 PCM only, as the 94 was an L27, not an L36, and the 96 was the first full OBD2 year. You're trapped.

Lucky for you, jr's3800 has been through this on a 95. He'* your man.
