A pcm can't effect the lights of the car, or do you mean lights on the dash?
The no power, hazards etc really gets me. That'* power/ground relation there and the PCM isn't tied to that stuff anywhere. Sorry to hear it wasn't the crank sensor, I didn't realize you had more power issues beyond the stalling.

Lights on the dash, sorry for the confusion. The total loss of power was new, previously it just hiccuped. No apologies necessary - you guys have forgotten more about these cars than I'll ever know. Trying a few things here and there is still cheaper than a mechanic and I enjoy doing the work. My problem is that the Bonnie with 180k is on it'* last leg, so I'm playing the game of trying to time it'* departure and minimizing my costs. I'll try the PCM, cables and check the alternator this weekend. If that doesn't fix it, it may become a donor. BTW, I read one of the articles on the ground centers. I found the one on the driver'* side and cleaned it, etc. Is there one on the passenger'* side? If so, I found the cable bundle but couldn't find the ground center. Thanks, Tom
