The manual I have is about to go in the trash!!!!! I've built small block chevys before and never heard of torque specs like the bonnies! x amount ft. lbs. then x amount degrees?? can anyone tell me the exact foot pound of torque for the cap screw rod caps and the main caps? My bonnie suffered a hard life prior to me purchasing it! upper intake failure , idiot kept driving it not noticing the temp gauge pegged
, the notorious white cloud behind him/her , empty radiator ensued followed by cracking the cylinder head and heating the piston enough to deform it!!!!! I'm saving a bonnies life here! i've replaced the timing chain set , crank sensor , cam sensor , upper intake , then it finally ran ,
then it smoked and smoked then cleared out , filled the antifreeze then it began smoking again. pulled the heads , noticed the piston , then pulled them all , noticed rings and bearings!
If anyone has info on torque specs or could even walk me through the way the book says , which is somewhat understandable to me , would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

Techinfo, specifications. If the spec you're looking for isn't there, post back here and we'll look it up for you. I can't remember how complete that list is.
