94 bonne cam/crank ecm? Help please!
Been having trouble with my bonne lately. It'll rev/sputter every now and then and I noticed the rpms were jumping around a little. I pulled the codes and it came back with cam and crank position sensors bad. I had the mechanic replace the cam, but the code is still coming up. I had them check it out again and they seem stumped by the intermittancy of the service engine soon light. They aren't giving me a direct answer. The mech said it'* most likely the ECM but didn't seem too sure. I'm tired of wasting money when the mechanic doesn't know what he'* talking about.. PLEASE HELP. I need my car to work!!

Do you have any idea what the codes were ?
94-95 did have some puter issues, but lets get all the info we can from you first and see what direction we can go in

The P0342 Is a Cam Signal Circuit problem
I wonder if you by chance had a code P1350 or P01361 which would be the ignition control circuit...
Where are you located?
Also is this a 94 SE, SSE, SSEi ?

Jr'*.. wasn't the 94 one of the years where the cam magnet (located on the cam gear inside) was known to come out of that gear, causing a loss of signal.

If the magnet said its good byes, the SES would be on all of the time...
I'll assume that the SES is still on?
