92 incorrect fuel gauge
My gauge won't go below full until about 4 gallons have been used, and won't hit half until I have just 6-7 gallons left. It'* been like this as long as I've had the car, and probably since new.
Is this a resistor under the rear seat fix or a new/adjusted sender fix?

As soon as I hit the highway mine quit doing it, it doesn't do it when the car isn't under forces. Do we have some sort of recourse to fix it?

I could fix this with a resistor, no? Find the proper resistance to lower the fuel sender output voltage (or raise, I don't know which way it goes).
