9-way power seats

A click in the relay means the coil energized. It does not mean that you changed contact states, or that the ground or power needed for the contacts is even available for the relay to switch.

Excellent, thank you.
I know how to test the relays like the ones under the Maxi Fuse bank to ensure they're properly working. However, how do you test/verify input/output voltage when the relay is in place? Do you have to strip a small portion of the wires just before they go into the connector?

Yes, I concur, we're on the same page with respect to the box.
I apologize for not indicating so, but I was asking the question in general.
Perhaps this thread isn't the place for a general question, however I thought it was somewhat related.
I'll risk the flame and ask my general question by using a scenario.
Say for instance I want to measure the voltage going to the cooling fan relays and if there was sufficient voltage to change the state of the contacts I want to measure the voltage from the relays to the cooling fan motors and resisters. Is that even a viable test? Dunno, I just fell off the turnip truck.
In closing - I do solemnly swear not to ask any more questions on this thread that do not pertain specifically to 9-way adjustable power seats.
Thankx for your patience
