All the plugs and wires still look good, they're Belden + TR55'* with only 3K on them. It'* gonna be hard to fix the injector wire, I may try to find some of that liquid electrical tape tomorrow to cover it up.

Got my AutoXray 6000 today and got to play with that a little bit. When the stuttering occurs, it says weak cylinder 3, which is the middle one on the front bank right? But the exposed wire was on cylinder 5'* injector (front of car, closest to TB). I covered the exposed wire with black rtv that said it can be used to insulate wires. Any other data that I can or should look for while driving???

I just got the info off of my scanner into EZ-PC and it says now...
P07050 - Trans range sensor circuit malfunction
P0131 - Bank 1 #1 Oxygen sensor circuit low voltage
P0171 - Bank 1 System too lean
P0300 - Random misfire detected
AC Delco O2 sensor is only 3500 miles old.

If those aren't old codes then I would start looking for a vacuum leak. Unmetered air could very well cause a lean condition.
Edit: I found this in anopther thread that might be more relavant:

I'm a Lean Bank One survivor... it nearly cost me a 5 gallon can of gas and a match to figure out what was causing that code.

Well... I found a vacuum leak now, in a hose I had previously replaced. It'* the one that comes down off of the TB that has the small filter in it that goes into the trans. It was loud too, I can't believe I didn't catch it before...

So I decided to clean my throttle body today, thinking that that may fix part of my problem. Got that done and pics to follow... Also, I decided to put in the drilled 180* t-stat that I've had for a year or two now and had yet to install, finished.
Then I figured while I was at it I would put the split loom on my plug wires. Cylinder #1, done. Cylinder #2.... the wire ripped off of the plug connector! I wasn't even pulling and twisting that hard. A weak connection in there may have been causing my problems... So I took the set in and warrantied them at NAPA, came home and loomed em up ... Here'* the wire and it'* guts...
I also broke a 1/4" Craftsman ratchet, got that replaced as well. Car started up right away, then started to stutter and died twice before I held the throttle down for a minute or so to keep it runnin. Took it out for a spin and so far it seems that my hesitation at 2500-3000rpm is gone. We'll see what a day of driving brings. Hopefully my FIE Injectors come soon so I can put them on while I'm on spring break...

Seems like everything is goin just fine now. No more check engine light, no more codes, coolant temp holding well under 200*, and a car that runs well.
