When Pete first mentioned this problem to me..I drove down and using a trim pop tool (basically a flat head screwdriver in length) I was able to gently pry and notice the subframe move. That led me to think the next mount in was extremely weak as well.

Rick.. in looking at the other rear pass mount...does it appear to be weak or fatigued?

I have checked the 97 plenty of times. It'* worth a few minutes with a jack.

Rick, while your mechanic is under there, I'd have him change the fuel filter. That'* one of the few things I never replaced myself.

fuel filter will be changed.. and the rear passenger side does need some reinforcing.
it is not as strong as it should be,,,

Come on down here to Florida. You'll find them all day long in this condition.

I Carfaxed the SSEi not too long ago. According to registration records, it has never left central Florida. In fact, it hovered around Daytona since new, went to Orlando, then back to Daytona before I got it.

It WAS greasy as h3LL before those pics were taken. I figured since it was up in the air, awaiting a fuel tank, I might as well clean it up a bit.
