Well, I tried to stay optomistic...now I guess it'* time to be more realistic

I guess 175k on that transmission is pretty good....too bad I put less than 100 miles on it

I think I am going to look for a core transmission first. LKQ has them for about 75 bucks out the door, and there is an SSE sitting there. True that it isn't an HD, but I can swap diferential housings around when the time comes. Maybe a performance shop can cut me a better deal than a chain...or maybe not. I got a few months to decide what I am going to do. In the meantime, I am going to work on the interior just so there is progress on this car. I will top off the fluid just so I can drive it around the complex so they can't say it isn't mobile.

And hope that nothing else gives.
