1992 bonneville back firing through intake..........help me

I had a new icm put in my vehicle and since then i been getting backing through tha intake..
i took it to tha shop and they replaced tha fpr,and tha tps...also they installed new wires and coil...i still have tha same problem somebody pleas help![Mad](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/mad.gif)

If the problem started after changing the ICM, then the first thing I would do is put the ICM back on and see if it corrects the problem. If you don't have the old one, then try a different one.

My first thought is ecm. When they go, they may never give you any info as to what'* going on...only drive you nuts.
Dan mentioned in a pm he'* thinking timing chain even though it'* super remote. GM gave us so much meat on the gears and chain that yeah it'* possible but really remote like Dan mentioned. If you search for that, you'll probably find quite a few that thought they had that issue and it ended up being something else.
I'd probably aim for ecm at this point. But that'* an off the hip reaction to what I've read. It'* not founded on any info, just gut feeling.
