Spring will be rounds the corner!
And I want to get a complete set of rims, and tires.
Tires i'll discuss later. For now, I am having trouble deciding on a nice looking set of rims that matches the style of my LeSabre. For a good price too.
First, will a 15X6 work on my Buick? It originally came with p205/75/r14 (out of date) What other type of rim will work?
I have consulted www.wheelcollision.com for some rims.
I am leaning towards 15 inch, and may even go to 16 depending. What I want is smoothness, quietness, and a nice firm feel at 120 kph and above. (75MPH) Harshness however, i really don't want. Which is why I think with a 15 inch, it'd be a good combo of each. But with newer vehicles, and newer suspension componements like struts and tires, the need for fat tires is loong gone. Which is why maybe a 16 inch might not be a bad idea.
So fellas, can I direct you to http://www.wheelcollision.com/buick.htm and pick a nice rim for me?? Pleeeeese??? Something that will turn heads, but not look silly on an old Buick.
I thought this might look nice?? http://www.wheelcollision.com/wccpix/4032.jpg
I am asking now, because its always fun to shop now, reserve a set, and save my cash for them. lol
I know, not a bonneville, its an old man'* car, yada, yada. Sorry, but if you can direct me somewheres else, that'd be great!
Thanks a bunch!
