my service engine soon light has been permanently on ever since I raced a car in a nearby town. for some reason the tranny wouldnt shift and it revved way too high. now the ses light will not go away. how do i fix this problem? the car still runs great! help me out guys.

First thing to do is disconnect the battery for about half an hour, then reconnect it again. That should clear all the stored codes & turn off the SES light.

But I fear that you may have thrown a code 41 or the cam magnet has jumped out of the cam sproket, causing a loss of cam signal... Please let us know what you found...
Ugh...Code 41 is the WORST...biggest problem I have in my car, by far. I will keep my fingers crossed for you man. You can't afford to throw a 41 if you wanna paint Big Phat Padge eh Buzz?
