The power window motors used by GM in the early 90'* seem to have mostly worn out by now. Typical is a window that moves about an inch and stops. After a while it will move another inch.

replaced my motor with A Delco 4 yrs ago now its doing the same thing.
I would definitley go with an aftermarket Advance Auto (lifetime) motor.
These Delco motors don't last. If I didn't get them cheap on Ebay I wouldn't use them.
Its not worth all the work.

Duuno about the Great White North but in Florida, just about every parts house carries them for around U$45. Are also often on e-Bay. Number of brands but most list Siemans for new motors.
Both fronts in my 90 use the same motor but rears are different/more expensive.
