my MAF and the California fires
if anyone remembers a few weeks ago the fires here in southern cali, well i was right in the middle of it, in fact it came within quarter mile of my house. anyways.....there was ALOT of smoke begging that day and for the following 5.
on that fifth day my idle started acting up and got a TPS SES light thrown.
I think a cleaning of my MAF sensor and TB will help. Can anyone recommend the name of the product to accomplish this?
anytips would be awesom as well
thanks guys

Use a cleaner that is safe for electronics. But you have to take the TB off to clean the MAF. And the fire was within 100ft of my house. =) And my car runs just fine. Seems your car is not filtering very wwell.

With mess y'all had out there, a cleaning sounds like an excellent idea. Don't forget the screen, although the filter should have caught most of it.
By the way, as they went out, we don't get to hear much, anymore. Do they have any suspects or leads on who may have started them yet? I'd like to be there to help y'all string 'em up by thier nether regions....
Glad to hear y'all survived, tho. Hopefully those floods aren't in your area.

Whoa. Pictures 14 and 17 remind me of when I was in Kuwait. Due to the oil well fires, you could actually look right at the sun without squinting or anything. Creepy
