Ok--I went to the j/y today--found one for $35--but I can get a rebuilt one for $60-65--what would you guys do? I'm getting a new/rebuilt for the extra $$.
How hard are these to do? I heard it was easy but I never did one before.
Any hints? :?:

ok damnit!! I just finished putting in the pass side axle--it sucked ***!!! Had to go buy a damn socket for the nut on the end--36 mm--which took like an hour--then I had to break the cotter pin(of course I don't have a new one!!)once I had that off the lower ball joint bolt kept spinning--lucky me
--after trying to seperate it w/o a fork I ripped the grease boot--so I'll have to change that soon--I finally got it off--then I had to break the cotter pin for the tie rod(I think that'* what it is)-of course still didn't have a new one--so both are on w/no new cotter pins! Then after all that bullshit I was able to get the axle out w/o any major prying--lucky me! :?
Oh well--I'll never want to do this damn job again--I'd rather pay someone!!!
On a scale of 1 to 5--5 being the hardest-it was maybe a 3--tops--but the pain in the balls factor was definitely a 10!
Now I need to go yell at somebody so I can feel better!
