hi i want to do the delco swap on my 88 bonnie and i have the right icm that matches the clip on my 88 and i have 3 new delco coils and new delco plugs and wires.
but how do i mount the new icm? it has 6 holes to mount and my bracket on the 88 only has 3 to mount the icm.? how do i mount the new delco upgrade. i see many did it but i cant see exactly how they mounted it... thanks

You need this Plate with the mounting bolts
The ICM will sit on top of the plate, like this
The you install the coils onto the ICM and Bolt them down
Then you are ready to install
Being that all you need is the Plate and the screws, you can get the Plate from any 89-93 3300 Buick V6 ( 8th didget of the vin will be a N ) or any 93-95 3800..... Make sure you get the screws for both the mounting plate and the coils as you will need them for the swap.... Hope that helps

It may help a little... Go no more than 2.5" on the exhaust... When you get the Type II installed, try out a set of the NGK TR55'*... And get a set of Plug wires for a 1993 Bonneville.... They will fit properly with the Type II coils... Get the intake and exhaust to flow a little better...
That 2.97 ratio should be the best all around ratio for the LN3
