Thanks for the tech info, Bill.
On another note, GM recognized a problem with their evap cores early in the '90s. They tended to trap moisture in the base and subsequently rot out from there. They began angling the evap cores to shed moisture and provided a drain area for the condensation after that.

OK I allways get the evap and condensor mixed up.

I was told it was 7 hrs labor to remove the firewall ductwork.
