grounded b'ville
well, I once again ran into problems taking pearl out this afternoon. She was running great.. the ignition is a little weak, so the car doesn't have tons of power, but she still pulls like a real 3800 should. We passed by dingus' farm [ a local farmer who sells some crop to the locals here ], and my mom suggested we get some corn for dinner, so I pulled in, and it was rough pulling in [big dip], and then the car started squeaking.. I was like wtf??? and I thought I may have hit something and was dragging it along, but I wasn't. So I pulled around about 20 ft, and it was still doing it, and I was still confused why. So my mom went and bought some corn, while I checked out what the hell this was. Well it wasn't anything in the engine, and it was comming from the left front tire. So I figured it was the pads, maybe they were worn.. and the metal tab was rubbing against the rotors. So I thought all would be well.. Till we got on the road, and the car was pulling slightly to the left, and felt very underpowered. I then hit another bump on the drive home [while my mom was cussing up and down and freaking out] and it just stopped. And didn't start up again.. what the hell is this?
Tomorrow I will pop off the tire and take a look at the brakes and see whats going on in there.. even though I have no clue what I would be doing.. Maybe it will be something easy even my untrained eye will catch. Any suggestions as to what this could be?
