i got an 89 le. The door hood and trunk lights on the systems monitor have no circuit to hook a light up to.
I want to switch it out (the whole thing) for an SE or SSE cluster setup. Will it fit? What will i need to replace? What dumbass decided not to set stuff like this as standard equip?!

Nope, not going to work. The pinout varies from LE to SE, to SSE, and SE with or without DIC [not the SSE DIC]. You aren't even going from an SE so you would have a LOT more work to do, honestly I wouldn't even try this.. too much work, IMO.
