Engine leaking coolent from the block?? I got pics
Hey guys
I was driving home and when I got in to take a look at the engine I noticed a lot of coolent leaking from the block right around where the water pump and bottom pully are where the crankshaft and the sensors are.. etc..
take a look tell me what is the problem with it..

im hoping its a water pump or gasket.
SOmething like that is a cheap fix..
becasue I think that the coolent is leaking on my sensors beneth it.. causing the Service engine soon light to come on.. thats what I think is happening

Water pump on a 3800 comes under "periodic maintanance". Is very easy to replace. Am a bit of a fanatic on getting the surface clean and just wet the gasket with white grease - no Permatex or blue death. Figure I'll be back in a few years.

Check both the water pump and the water pump bypass hose..
