damn obviously my brain didn't get back into gear, for some reason with the last post i was thinking temp sensor. SOOO anyway I went outside and snapped shots of my radiator, it does have a sensor attached. If you want them post a reply and let me know cause I can't figure out how to post them here. Otherwise its a little over halfway down on the side with the cap. [/img]

I think yours is similar to my '93 (which gives the same periodic false alarms). In this photo, you can't actually see it, but it'* directly below the little surge-tank hose coming out the side of the radiator cap, about 1/3 of the way down the radiator. It'* a squarish black plastic thing with a 2-wire electrical connector. The sensor itself is a 2-fingered probe that'* immersed in the coolant, so when it'* wet, it conducts enough current to keep the warning off. When it'* dry, it triggers the warning. That'* my theory, anyway. Anyhow, you can unplug the connector from the sensor to make the warning shut up. Don't pull the sensor out of the radiator unless you have a new one ready to go in (and your engine is cold), since coolant will come out through the hole.
