Alright guy'*,
I went to a local junk yard and they have a umber of 87-89 bonnies
I'm wondering if the older style horizontal red taillights can go on my 90 bonnie
cause for the price It'd be better to get two older styles(
which i like better
) than buy a new one.
If this is a possibility please let me know thanks for the help guys

Ok...the housing, the part that holds the bulbs and fits into the rear of the car....the reflector portion:
All models 87-89 EXCEPT SSE use the same part.
All 88-91 SSE'* use another part.
That'* all I can tell you so far.

The wiring when you have orange turn signals is a little different.
If you wire the turn signals into the 2 outer high beam lights, you lose the brake lights. If you wire the brake lights into the 2 outer high beam lights, you lose the turn signals.
Remember when you don't have the orange lights, the brakes and turn signals are the same light!
You could wire the outermost red bulb as a turn signal, and the 3rd bulb as a brake light. The two inner bulbs are 194 bulbs, so they aren't bright enough to be used for anything but tail lamps.

You would have to live with one bright red bulb as a turn signal, and one bright red bulb as a brake light, which isn't so bad.. That'* the way some Chryslers are.
And then you would have to change some of the wiring around to get the correct configuration.
The original 87-89 have both bright red bulbs doubling as both a brake light and a turn signal.

JR, i still haven't gotten to the post office, cuz i haven't had the chance to take the lamps off of my car yet. The 87-91 LE and SE have a different size holes the the assembly... They are smaller than the 90-91. Only one brake light/taillight will plug in, but you could cut the hole bigger, so the other bulb will go in the hole.
