do I know anyone with an 88-91 VinC 3800? no.
I've never tried giving it gas whilst starting. I guess I'll try that today.

Well.. things get weirder. giving it gas made it start allright. letting off the gas once revving past 2k, the engine dies. Start it back up by giving it gas and cranking. Still giving it a little gas, keeping a foot on the brake I shift into reverse, then back out of the parking space. Still with my foot on gas and on brake I put it in drive. I tool around the parking lot for about 30 seconds, then I pull back into a space, place it in park and take my foot of the gas, and lo and behold it doesn't stall. Turn it off, turn it back on.... starts right up with no need to gas it. wtf?
