Brakes
I see that several people are using Performance Friction brake pads. Tried them once but my wife complained that she had to press the pedal too hard (felt that way to me also) so I changed them out for Raybestos perdomance pads.
Few weeks ago they started feeling hard also and while the were not down to the wear sensors (scrapers), they were close so went to replace them.
Seems that particular Raybestos is not arround any longer and the only FF pads I could find were Bendix. U$32 for the fronts.
Brakes feel normal now and wife can stop faster than anything unattached. Just an observation. Might not be right for the race track but for the flatlands where I live they are good.

Got the Bendix titaniums on an 87 Supra I have.
I like them. It has 4 wheel discs and I installed them all around.
The carbon metallics seem to be working well on my SSE also.
Seemed to stop the rapid pad wear I was getting with the dealer pads.

I'm in total agreement here.
I guess you can't judge pads by their fancy performance charts.
Its real world wear according to your driving conditions that mean everything.....
