I could not have put it better myself, Randy. It is kinda like buying used underwear on eBay. You just don't. Yes, Padgett may be right [I do not know for sure, but I will take his word] about it being a fairly basic component, however it can still fail. It can fail at any point and time. And since you cannot use anything that is going to be less than 14 years old [if buying used], then that is a major factor in your purchase also. But, if you could not find them new.. then that may be another story. If I were to actually fork out money to fix my ABS, I would buy the new WSS new. But, I really don't want ABS. Especially my ABS, which sucked from the get-go.

Note that they did not say they did not know what the codes meant. If GM is responsible, why do all of the parts (including the computer) say "Teves" ?
I have both service manuals and training gudes from GM on the TEVES system and none differentiate between the codes yet they must mean something.
Seems that some lawyer at GM has decided that it would be dangerous to let the public know how their computers are programmed. Too bad.
(sorry - hard day).
