89 SSE freeze plugs
howdy, newbie here...yeah so I have this SSE, 89, that had a leaky rear freeze plug..not completely gone, but had a drip...tried a bottle of this stuff recommended at local Auto Zone, $60.00, guaranteed to fix al cooling system leaks, very easy to use,,it has seemed to work..3 months no leak..question is, will be under the car soon replacing rack and all motor/tranny mounts(5), so my buddy wants to change the plug too..thinks we can do it without dropping tranny..anyone with experience doing that?
Thanks to this site, I am determined to keep my baby on the road, and is my daily transportation...have bought a pair of rear struts/shocks/springs, monroe sensatracs, that come as a complete assembled unit..Rock Auto..#171798..$95 each..good deal..ok,bros, rock on..

Has your buddy seen where the Gear set is on the Bonneville?
And how is he going to knock the new freeze plug back in at the angles he'll have to work with?
Might be easier to yank the Motor and replace them all
